The Spirits of Mexico is one of the most popular experiences in our Libation Bible School class series. Looking to go beyond the basics? Our evening session will dive into rarer or more unique agave spirits including wild mezcals, bacanora, raicilla and more. This is a great session for anyone who has already attended our tequila class or for mezcal enthusiasts looking to try a broader range of spirits.
Like all our classes, guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by an interactive, guided tasting of 8 agave based spirits. We will cover the many intricate processes that determine a spirit's flavor & quality - from agave selection & harvest to cooking to distillation to aging. Paired snacks will be served to accompany each pour.
Looking to move beyond the Margarita? We will also talk about unique and underappreciated cocktail applications for agave cocktails -- and how to best select bottles to mix & enjoy at home.
Space is limited for both sessions to maximize convivial conversation. 21+ only!
