One of our most popular session, The Spirits of Mexico, returns with an informative (and fun!) afternoon that lays a solid foundation around agave spirits, notably tequila and mezcal. If you have never been to one of our Libation Bible School classes, this is the PERFECT class to attend.
Enjoy an expertly-guided exploration of all things TEQUILA & MEZCAL on Sunday, April 28th from 2-4pm. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by an interactive, guided tasting of 8 agave based spirits. We will cover the many intricate processes that determine a tequila & mezcals flavor & quality - from agave selection & harvest to cooking to distillation to aging. Paired snacks will be served to accompany each pour. Looking to move beyond the Margarita? We will also talk about unique and underappreciated cocktail applications for agave cocktails -- and how to best select bottles to mix & enjoy at home.
Space is limited for both sessions to maximize convivial conversation. 21+ only!
If you're ready to go beyond the basics, we will also have an advanced tasting class that evening from 6-8pm featuring more esoteric agave spirits inlcuding wild mezcals, sotol, bacanora, raicill and more.
