The Spring/Summer season of our Libation Bible School series kicks off with a two-part series focued on the Spirits of Mexico.
Join us for an exploration of all things TEQUILA on Sunday, April 3rd from 2-4pm. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail followed by an interactive, guided tasting and ranking of 8 tequilas. We will cover the many intricate processes that determine a tequilas flavor & quality - from agave selection & harvest to cooking to distillation to aging. Paired snacks will be served to accompany each pour. Looking to move beyond the Margarita? We will also talk about unique and underappreciated cocktail applications for Tequila -- and how to best select bottles to mix & enjoy at home.
It is recommended (but not required) that guests download the app Tequila Matchmaker prior to arriving for the class as we will be using the platform to blind taste and rank the tequilas featured in this session.
Space is limited for both sessions to maximize convivial conversation. 21+ only!
This is Part I of a two-part series on the Spirits of Mexico. Part II will be held on Sunday, April 17th and will cover Mezcal/other agave spirits, Sotol and other spirits produced in Mexico including rum, whiskey and liqueurs.
