Drinking January Dry: AF Beer Tasting with Specials Guests

Every January, we all become keenly aware that we may have indulged in one too many Double IPAs and Pastry Stouts throughout December. "That's it!" we declare, "I'm going dry this January."

But for many who enjoy beer, a whole month of abstinence can feel like an endurance test—not because we want to get drunk, but because we genuinely love the flavour of beer and the vibrant culture surrounding it. And for breweries and bottle shops, January and February often mean quieter times, making it a challenging start to the year for independent brewers and shops.

We understand that not everyone wants to drink in January. For some, it’s a chance to hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete, giving their bodies a break from alcohol. And that’s perfectly fine—we totally get it. At the same time, supporting breweries and encouraging people to explore new beers is essential to keeping the beer ecosystem thriving, which is why we proudly support Tryanuary to keep the love of beer alive.

Drinking January Dry is our month-long celebration of low-to-no alcohol beer! We’re inviting our patrons—whether they're going Dry or Try—to explore some fantastic low-to-no alcohol beers from the UK’s top breweries in this fast-growing field.
