Drop in to The Safari Lounge on the last Wednesday of every month for our relaxed and informal figure drawing session with a monoprinty twist. Mono printing is a great way of encouraging you to work quickly from the model and loosen up your drawing skills Printmaking produces unique and unexpected results which can range from a bold statement to ghostly impressions. Come and explore the incidental qualities and textural possibilities of printmaking and how they can give your drawing a new twist. During the class our model will take up a series dynamic poses of no longer than 5 minutes so you can expect to be prolific drawers! The class is mostly untutored but the session will begin with a short mono printing demo and handy drawing tips from the host who will then be on hand to offer advice and chat about the work if asked. All the materials will be provided for the session so all you need to do is turn up The ticket price is £22 and this covers the model fee plus includes all printmaking materials for the session.
