Drifting Roots is an original reggae band based out of Central Florida. The band was founded in San Diego, CA in 2018 by brothers Matthew Mavericks (vox/guitar) & Chris Mavericks (drums). After establishing roots in California, Matt & Chris relocated home to Florida where they met Joey Zizzo (bass). Drifting Roots have had the pleasure to share the stage with artist such as Collie Buddz, Steel Pulse, Julian Marley, The Movement, Mike Love and Authority Zero. With two Top 5 iTunes Charting albums out (Life is Good 2021) & (Meant to Be 2022), Drifting Roots is currently working on their third full length studio album. From the East Coast to the West Coast and everywhere in between, Drifting Roots tours relentlessly sharing their music and spreading love to each city they pass by.
Alific is the creation of Brendan Dane, a multi-instrumentalist and music producer. His work blends reggae-influenced grooves with an electronic execution to create a unique and captivating musical experience that is both energizing and calming. From transcending instrumentals to jazz, blues, funk, reggae, hip hop, and beyond, Brendan's music crosses multiple genres and reaches audiences of all backgrounds. No matter what your musical taste is, Alific is sure to have something that aligns with you.
Alific was the former bassist for Stick Figure and joined The Movement on 2 national tours as their on-stage keyboardist and DJ. He's toured the United Stated as the bassist for KBong & Johnny Cosmic and has shared the stage with many established bands in the scene including Slightly Stoopid, Iration, Fortunate Youth, Hirie, Roots of Creation, John's Brown Body and more.
Alific has independently self-produced and released 6 full-length albums and 10 singles making a total musical catalog of 83 songs to date.
