Overview
Round 3 of the IDF points series rolls into RC Driftway. Full-day practice, qualifying, and tandem battles on our polished surface. Consistent grip, clean lines, and proximity win the day.
Format
• Qualifying: Solo laps scored on line, angle, style, and commitment.
• Tandem Battles: Top bracket seeded from qualifying. OMT at judges’ discretion.
• Scoring: 100-point scale; contact, off-line, and corrections penalized.
• Tires: Spec LF3
• Bodies/Chassis: Scale details encouraged; functional aero allowed.
Schedule
• 8:30 AM – Doors open / Check-in & tech
• 9:00–12:00 PM – Open practice
• 12:00 PM – Drivers meeting (mandatory)
• 12:30–2:30 PM – Qualifying runs
Judging Criteria (quick hits)
• Line: Hit all clips/zones, clean transitions
• Angle: High and stable, no under-rotation
• Style: Fluidity, throttle commitment, X-factor
• Proximity (tandem): Pressure without contact; mimic lead’s line/angle
Amenities
• On-site parts shop, charging stations, pit tables (first-come)
• Food options nearby; water available on site
Awards
• 1st–3rd trophies + prizes
• “Top Qualifier” & “Best Style” callouts
• Series points toward IDF championship
Registration
