About this Event
Film synopsis: Ali, a Turkish professor recently returned from the U.S., finds himself caught between his wife’s unspoken frustrations, his father’s authoritarian presence, and the weight of his mother’s mysterious death. When an enigmatic gardener named Reza enters Ali’s life, his world starts to shift and the lines between reality, memory, and justice begin to blur. Khatami delivers, with striking visuals, a haunting and layered exploration of toxic masculinity, and a provocative portrait of a man unraveling.
