Dressage Naturally Workshop Series - Finding the Sweet Spot of Healthy Biomechanics
Are you interested in developing a partnership of both physical and mental ease with your horse? If so, this Dressage Naturally Workshop Series with Licensed Instructor Michelle Young is for you!
These workshops are open to all types of riders and disciplines. They are for anyone who is interested in building better communication, improving their handling and riding skills, while also developing a partnership and healthy movement.
The Sweet Spot Workshop Series is based on Dressage Naturally signature concepts and our most popular DN online course. It is an information packed four part learning progression. Students will benefit from theory, discussions, simulations, on-line sessions, and of course riding. If you want to learn new ways to work with your horse to find a place of cooperation, ease, and biomechanical freedom, these workshops are for you!
Michelle will guide you through helpful exercises to help find the places you might be getting stuck in your progress. Michelle treats each student and horse as an individual and is one of the reasons her workshops have a four rider maximum per group, allowing time for questions and one on one attention. Michelle is passionate about helping you create more connection, communication and healthy movement with your horse!
This workshop series is for you if:
- You want to improve your groundwork, riding skills, and communication with your horse.
- You want to find more harmony and balance in movement with your horse.
- You are able to walk and trot safely on your horse.
- You are able to safely lead and lunge your horse at a walk and trot.
- You want to learn and connect with a group of other like minded horse people.
- You and your horse are comfortable riding in a new place with other riders.
- You have an open mindset and willingness to support and encourage other riders.
- You are ready to challenge yourself and your horse in a fun supportive environment!
This workshop series is not for you if:
- You want quick fixes and are not willing to put the time into developing a partnership and clear communication with your horse.
- You or your horse are not comfortable being in a small group environment.
- Your horse gets very emotional or overwhelmed in new environments (if you need help in this area Michelle recommends reaching out about private sessions to get started).
- You are still working on developing basic riding and handling skills with your horse like stopping and steering (if you need help in this area Michelle recommends reaching out about private sessions to get started).
