Welcome to Dress Up Ellwood! Ground Zero Ministries is partnering with Holy Redeemer Church to a host a free formal dress event in Ellwood City, PA on March 14th, 2026. It’s our mission to ensure that all students in the Ellwood City, Riverside and surrounding districts have the opportunity to attend their proms with confidence and style and without financial restraints.
We will be seeking donations from community members and businesses and hope that you’ll partner with us to help all of our students look and feel their best and have the best experience possible at their proms. You can support us in three ways:
DRESS / FORMAL WEAR DONATIONS
Beginning on November 15th, 2025 and through February 28th, 2026 we will be seeking donations of new or gently used prom dresses, shoes, jewelry and accessories (bags etc) of all sizes and styles. These items can be dropped off at participating local businesses during their normal operating hours.
MONETARY DONATIONS
You can make a tax deductible monetary donations to be used to offset the cost of any cleaning or repair of donated items and will be also be used for our Prom Scholarship Fund, which will help offset the cost of Prom tickets for students in need.
SERVICE / GOODS DONATIONS
You can also donate your time, talents or products and services to help us with this event.
DRESS UP ELLWOOD EVENT
The Dress Up Ellwood event will take place on Saturday, March 14th from 10am to 9pm at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Center in Ellwood City, PA.
