This talk will provide an overview of men and women’s fashion in Edinburgh during the 18th century, using the finest examples of 18th century dress from the National Trust for Scotland’s collection housed on the Newhailes estate.

Pat Wigston specialises in Scottish Painting and Scottish Architecture, with particular emphasis on Robert Adam and the Adam Family Practice. She worked for the NTS from 1990 – 2016 and held various posts such as Property Manager for Kellie Castle and Gladstone's Land. In 2005 she moved into Collections Conservation, becoming Collections Care Officer for the Edinburgh Properties and Newhailes Estate.
