About this Event
Based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Dreem Machine has developed a following across the southwest. Getting their start at great southwest Colorado venues such as The Animas City Theatre and Motel Soco, Dreem Machine has cultivated their distinct sound since 2016. The band has also made their way up to the front range of Colorado many times over the years, playing venues such as The Caribou Room and RapidGrass Festival. Dreem Machine has supported national and regional touring acts like the Kitchen Dwellers, Reverend Horton Heat, Dragondeer, and more.
Over the years, the three members have played in a variety of bands and genres, ranging from bluegrass, rock, to reggae. The individual members of the band have all had a long history in the Colorado music scene.
Jimi Davis has played upright bass all across Colorado, the southwest and the west coast. The better half of the Robin Davis Duo and with bands Six Dollar String Band, and La La Bones. Jimi has played Rhythms on the Rio festival, Tico Time Bluegrass Festival, String Summit at Hornings Hideout and more fesitivals and great venues.
Matt Cottle has played drums for various Colorado projects including Big Medicine Gang. Sharing the stage with bands like the Motet, Melvin Seals and JGB, the Revialists, and Mike Dillion. Matt has had the pleasure of playing many Colorado venues such as Cervantes, the Fox Theater, the Bluebird Theater, the Aggie and more.
Robin Davis has played with many ensembles over his career. He is one of the founding members of, and continues to play internationally with the Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band featuring current members of the Infamous Stringdusters, Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, and Jon Stickley Trio. Robin has played Telluride Bluegrass Festival, RockyGrass, Strings and Sol and many more amazing venues nationally.
