About this Event
In this potent Year of the Horse, the medicine of the horse is alive and tangible for many of us. Yet horse medicine means something unique to each of us based on our own relationship with the horse, where we are in our life, and what is calling us forward. With the astrological reflection of so many planets in fire and air signs and the general action-packed energy of this year, we feel it is clear that this is not a year for sitting on the sidelines. This is a year for heart-aligned action.
Dreamweaving is an offering for you to be in community, open and reflect, be with horses, walk in the woods, make a woven nature object, and plant the seeds of your dreams that align with your heart in the moment.
Materials for nature objects will be provided and sourced on the land. Bring a yoga mat to sit on in the barn (chairs provided, too). We’ll begin with a meditation and space to land, then we’ll enter the pasture with the horses to set intentions and connect in heart space. We’ll take a walk into the woods for inspiration and material sourcing. We’ll create our own unique woven nature objects together. To conclude, we’ll have time with the herd in the pasture for reflection, group reiki with the horses, and closure.
Your guides along with the herd of horses and donkeys are Elizabeth Carden and Stacy Nelson. Friends and collaborators with the horses through Humble Herd of Healers, Elizabeth and Stacy share a passion for nature, heart connection, and creativity. Elizabeth lives with the Inner Freedom herd in the beautiful hills of Buchanan, Michigan and creates opportunities for people to remember their true self in the presence of free roaming horses. Stacy is a Buchanan resident and lifelong creator and maker with a passion for all things fiber.
