Dreams in Nightmares is a lyrical road movie from director Shatara Michelle Ford (Test Pattern) that follows Z, a burned-out writer, and her chosen family of Black queer friends as they embark on a cross-country search for a missing friend. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a tender journey through grief, love, and queer survival.
