Dreaming of Transcendence (D.o.T.)

Through this interaction, he discovers his self. Exploring dreams, purpose, self-doubt, belonging, and the delicate yet powerful human ability to imbue meaning into anything, even a single dot. Like him, the dot also aims to reveal the audience to their selves.

Through poetic ramblings, lo-fi musical scores, fluid choreography, expanded animation, and legerdemain, D.o.T. invites us to face the wavering truths we tell ourselves in a surreal and transformative experience, with a few astonishments along the way.

This two-year-long project from multi-disciplinary artist Mark Espinosa instills a sense of wonder and challenges our collective and personal illusions.
