You are invited to experience the Dream at STEAM as Swindon Opera Collective and the Corisande Chorale give life to Edward Elgar's iconic oratorio, “The Dream of Gerontius”, with full orchestra and chorus.Composed in 1900, “The Dream of Gerontius” is a masterpiece of English music, exploring themes of mortality, faith, and redemption. This profound and moving work is considered one of Elgar's greatest achievements, and its beauty and emotional depth continue to inspire audiences to this day.
Come and hear the score broought to life by our talented soloists, Robert Felstead (tenor), Charlie Morris (baritone), and Aino Konkka (soprano), who will be accompanied by the Corisande Chorale and full orchestra, expertly sourced and conducted by Diana Bickley.
