In conjunction with the Alpharetta Arts Center’s illustrator's exhibit, From the Artist Studio, Mark Braught, Laura Freeman, and C. F. Payne,Book Signing:
Illustrator Laura Freeman will host a book signing. Some of her books include Hidden Figures, A Voice Named Aretha, and Kamala Harris Rooted in Justice.
Vision Book Workshop:
And in honor of Laura Freeman, Ashley King with Get It Done Publishing. will be leading the "Dream Big Vision Book Workshop.” Open to ages 7-12.
12:00 – 2:00pm for workshop
2:00 - 3:00 pm for book signing with Laura Freeman
During the workshop, participants aged 7 - 12 will use imagery and creative writing to learn and plan out what it takes to fulfill their dreams. Each participant will be given a blank book to create a roadmap to their goals. Each section will be a 'chapter' in their lives, such as:
• My Dream
• Why This Dream
• Dream Timeline
• Steps to Meet My Goal
• My Promise to Me
All materials provided. Registration is required for the workshop.
