Get ready to rumble folks! The ground will shake as the Warmachines of the 41st Millennium get ready to go to war in the FOURTH Warhammer Aberdeen annual event – Dreads VS Treads 4.0!
So what is Dreads vs Treads we hear you cry? Well put simply this will be a full-on clash of all the vehicles in Warhammer 40,000 that walk or stomp against all those that roll or float. We want to see all your cool Dreadnoughts, Knights, Tanks, Skimmers and even Titans and Super Heavy vehicles!
So what can I use in the game:
We want this event to be all about the awesome and fantastic vehicle models of Warhammer 40,000. The Infantry have their time in the sun for most games, but for this event we won’t have any of them anywhere on the table.
When deciding what to bring to the event consider the following:
• The model must have the VEHICLE Keyword.
• You will be playing on one side or the other so either bring models that Walk or models that Roll/Float (models like Repulsors or Fire Prisms etc would count for the latter) – don’t bring both.
• No Flyers. This game will be all about ground warfare so no AIRCRAFT. The model may have the FLY keyword but that is all.
• Bonus points will be available for those who use painted vehicles and additional bonuses will be awarded for those who paint something specially for the event!!
At the end of the day we will have certificates for the best painted Walker and Vehicle along with awards for the “DREAD” and “TREAD” player that causes the coolest and most outrageous carnage in the game on the day.
