Dreadnaught’s eclectic blend of rock, jazz, and experimental music has been a hallmark of the seacoast scene for nearly 30 years – 18 of them as house band for the Music Hall’s Writers on a New England Stage series.
This evening they will be taking it back to the classics, as they perform live and in full, their 2001 album The American Standard.
Founded in 1996, Dreadnaught is a collective of seasoned musicians featuring Justin Walton on guitar, Bob Lord on the bass and Rick Habib on the drum kit. The band's live performances are nothing short of electrifying. The Progressive Aspect says, “It’s another instrumental tour de force that is distinctly Dreadnaught right from the off. The joy that the band imbues into everything they do, and their dexterity in delivering it, is guaranteed to spread a smile across even the most careworn visage.”
