About this Event

Drawing Week 2026 is not a Public Program. It is for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School, Sydney.

Welcome to the National Art School's Drawing Week 2026!

Students may choose one workshop from the range of workshops listed below. Each workshop offers a distinct focus for drawing over the four days from Tuesday 24 February to Friday 27 February* at the National Art School campus and off-campus sites at Hill End, the Sydney Opera House and the State Library of NSW. Each workshop provides scope for students to start the year with a full immersion in the process of making, looking at and thinking about drawing.

*Take note. The ‘Hill End: Excavations’ workshop runs from Monday 23 February to Thursday 26 February. Participants must arrange travel to Hill End and be ready to commence the workshop on Monday morning. Dinner will be provided at the Hill End Lodge on Sunday evening.

See full information on NAS Drawing website as there are travel, accommodation and catering costs associated with this workshop.
