Join us for an evening of celebration and storytelling, at Drawing Pride: A Conversation with Jonah Newman and Nora Dåsnes. They will be joined by moderator Alexander Lu, editor at Random House Graphic.
Dive into the vibrant world of graphic novels for young people with Jonah Newman’s Out of Left Field and Nora Dåsnes’ Cross My Heart and Never Lie. Both novels capture the complexities of young love and self-discovery. Jonah and Nora will read an excerpt from their graphic novels and share insights into their creative processes.
After the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity for a book signing with both authors. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Jonah and Nora, get your books signed, and celebrate Pride through the power of queer storytelling.
This event will take place in the Main Gallery. Bathrooms are only accessible via stairs.
This program is being offered in collaboration with East Midtown Partnership, The Publishing Triangle and Royal Norwegian Consulate General New York.
