About this Event
Nice Flaps presents an intimate drawing session in collaboration with Trang Hà that revolves around the idea of ‘osmosis’. In cooking, osmosis happens when matters and fluids exchange their level of salinity or water. For our session, we will reenact this process by setting up a big pot of simmering broth. Into the pot, someone throws in an ingredient, one after another, prepared as the person wishes. The room will proceed in a full movement of exchange, drawing each stage as an ingredient goes missing from the table, yet appearing in the broth, the smell, and on the canvas. Broth tasting will be hosted after drawing.
