The captivating Drawing from Film workshop inspired by artist Catherine Goodman is back on the occasion of the closing weekend of the artist’s first exhibition in Los Angeles–‘Catherine Goodman. New Works.’ Join us on Saturday 4 May at 5.30 pm for an interactive drawing workshop that uses film as its subject. This session will feature the romantic fantasy ‘Wings of Desire’(1987) directed by Wim Wenders.
The workshop is drawn from Goodman's own practice and offers new ways of looking by considering the cinematographer’s point of view. Participants are invited to call for the film to be paused at any given still to complete fast-paced drawings in semi-darkness.
