About this program
Using charcoal, oil pastel, and pencil, students will learn about gesture, line, perspective, and value. We will work from a variety of subjects including still life, landscape, and drawing from our imaginations. Classes are taught by James Vanderberg, Educator, High School, College, University, and Community Engagement, YCBA.
Free and open to ages 12–18. No registration needed; all materials provided.
About the series
This program will take place in the Teen Center on the lower level of Ives Main Library, 133 Elm Street, New Haven. These drop-in drawing sessions will occur on June 12, June 26, July 31, and August 8.
