About this Event
You don't need to know how to draw a straight line to learn something in this workshop. We will start from a "can do" attitude and show you how to "see" more and have fun learning!
We will work from a still life arrangement and discuss the methods of building form and dimension, line and shade relationships, light and shadow, and negative and positive shape relationships. These are essential ways of understanding the subject you are looking at, building your observation skills and then representing the subject on the paper. We'll review different drawing materials and you will have lots of hands on practice.
This is a non-judgemental space; all efforts are recognized and there are no rights or wrongs.
No prior experience is needed.
