4 week class on ThursdaysThis four-week class is designed to provide essential drawing and sketching skills for both the beginner and advanced artist. Techniques will include drawing in outline, light and shade, hatching, graded tones, perspective, and composition. Drawing sessions may include working from a still-life of objects, using photos of landscapes or small buildings, or simply emulating a master work. The traditional representation of objects and scenes will be emphasized to increase one’s power of observation and retention, and, of course, patience.
