About this Event
For Ages 12 to 15 – This class is designed for students who want to build upon their drawing skills and are ready to expand their practice. This class is perfect for students who want to focus on rendering skills and learning new ways of looking. Working with both still life and observation, we will explore rendering and shading techniques, including contour drawing, gesture drawing, cross-hatching, and stippling. We will also discuss perspective and proportion and learn how to put these concepts to use. For inspiration, we will discuss contemporary artists, including Kerry James Marshall, Manny Farber, Becky Suss, and Amoako Boafo. All supplies are provided and included in the price of the class.

- Mondays & Wednesdays, July 8 - July 31 (8 Class Meetings, 2x/Week)
- $320/Student (tuition covers all meetings)
