You are invited to join others to make music together on November 6. Regardless of the results of Nov. 5, it will be good to sing songs of hope, songs of care for one another, songs of strength and resilience, and songs of healing. Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of faith/church affiliation. Music will be provided, and much of it you'll be able to take with you.Everyone (all ages!) is welcome to join us; music will be interfaith or secular and respectful of all communities that honor the full humanity of others. Central Church rejects the hateful theology of Christian Nationalism and that will have no place in our time together.
CHOIR DIRECTORS: We know that Wednesday night is "choir night" for many of you. It is for us, too, which is why we are hosting this on Wednesday. You are sincerely invited to make this rehearsal your choir rehearsal and to use the music we learn for your service on November 10. All of the music will be interfaith or secular, but would be appropriate in many worship settings regardless. (For example, Justice Choir Songbook pieces.) I would love to invite choir directors to share in the directing; please contact me and let me know you plan to be there and we can plan for you to lead as well.
Of course, we will conclude the rehearsal with treats because that's always a good idea.
