Join us for our popular outdoor comedy series: Draughts & Laughs 8–South Baltimore's best outdoor, socially distant, stand-up comedy show.This special show is a part of Checkerspot Brewing's third anniversary celebration.
Enjoy live bands, vinyl DJs, and food trucks during the day and a spectacular comedy show at night! The festivities kick off at 1 PM.
Tickets are $15 in advance or can be purchased at the door for $20.*
The show will take place outside of the brewery.
Bring your own chairs and tables, spread out, and set up wherever you'd like. (We will be practicing social distancing.)
Show time is 8 PM. Show seating will begin at 7 PM.
Enjoy a variety of local craft beer. We also have food available! Masks are required to order inside the taproom.
Free street parking is also available.
*All sales are final and refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled.
Rain Date: Saturday, June 26th. All weather decision relative to postponement to the rain date will be made by 5:30PM on day of the event.

• Chris Alan is a stand up comedian and writer.
Chris' conversational yet laid back style coupled with his quick wit keeps audiences on their toes.
He's performed at Rogue Island Comedy festival, DC Underground Festival, among others.
He's appeared on Laughs on Fox. He hosts a weekly podcast called Negro Please Radio.
He's currently touring clubs and venues all across the country.

• Gigi Modrich is a Washington, DC based comic originally from New Mexico.
She was a part of the First Nations Comedy Experience now available on Amazon Prime, and has performed all across the country.
She’s sarcastically optimistic and tells jokes that are thoughtful enough to provoke thought, but won't prompt a hate crime.

• Umar Khan is a Baltimore comedian who has been performing for the past 10 years.
He’s become a regular at clubs, colleges, independent shows, and local theaters in the Baltimore and DC areas.
In 2019 he released his first special "Umar Khan: Live in Baltimore" on YouTube and Amazon Prime.
He has performed at The DC Improv, 9:30 Club, The Historic Sixth & I Synagogue, Big Hunt, Hilarities in Cleveland, Punchline Philly, and the DC Drafthouse. In 2016 he was invited to be on Tig Nataro's Bentzen Ball in DC at the Kennedy Center.
Umar has had the opportunity feature for great comedians like The Daily Show's Hasan Minhaj, Todd Barry, 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander, Greg Fitzsimmons, Mark Normand Kyle Kinane, and Hari Kondabolu.
