Bad Art for the Community by the Community.
Join us for the launch of Crafts & Draughts at the taproom! We've teamed up with our friends at The Cowley Rag to bring you a night of great beer and bad art. Whether you're an artistic pro or crafting rookie we invite you to draw, paint, collage, and get creative in a casual and social setting.
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗
We'll provide magazines (for collaging), scissors, glue sticks, sharpeners, rubbers, colouring pencils, and crayons.
𝗕𝗬𝗢 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗦
Bring your own crafting projects and materials, too! The tables will be covered, but please do not bring anything that could cause damage to our venue and/or furnishings.
𝟮 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟭 𝗣𝗜𝗭𝗭𝗔
We'll be running a 2-for-1 pizza promo for crafters via a "show and tell" system. Bring your finished or unfinished piece to the Proof Pizza van for redemption.
The Cowley Rag is an Oxford-based DIY zine collecting artwork from the community. Established in 2023, they have produced seven editions so far, creating a home for weird and wonderful pieces from poetry to quizzes, photography to Lino print - “if we can print it, you can submit it’!
Cowley Rag's eighth edition will be out mid-December, so keep your eyes peeled for a copy at the taproom.
