Calling all DIY enthusiasts, carpenters, welders, builders – indeed anyone who enjoys making and / or fixing things.We’re on the lookout for budding set builders to help local theatre companies such as Shakespeare at The George, Hunts Drama Club and Hunts Youth Theatre create the sets and scenery for their future productions.
We have a large storage facility / workshop full of tools and equipment that is perfect for set building – and we’d love for you to come and join us in creating the backdrops to a wide range of different shows.
If that sounds like something you’d be interested then come along to our Set Build Drop-In on Sunday 28th April, anytime from 10am-1pm at Hathaway House, 58 High St, Needingworth, PE27 4SA.
There’ll be an opportunity to talk to members of the backstage teams, have a tour of Hathaway House, check out our tools and equipment, look over the set for the next big production (Hamlet) and even get involved with some of final stages of set-creation.
