~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A journey to ignite the magic of spring
Welcoming the effervescent light
From the sensous dark nothingness
The sweet nectar of life
Begins to satiate every cell
A new taste yet never known before
Of belonging to the mystery
A radiance that can no longer be dimmed
Even in the darkest haunted hallow
Calling upon the wisdom of the stars
And the elements to evolve
Beyond what we have ever known to be
Dragonflies have existed for over 300 million years, holding ancient ancestral memories and wisdom. The dragonfly reminds us to call on this ancient wisdom to navigate life’s transitions from a higher perspective of truth. May the dragonfly be a mirror for the primordial intelligence encoded in our cells to harmonize and alchemize continuous transformations and new iterations of being in community.
ECO -SOMATIC DANCE:
A guided exploration of eco-somatic inquiry and dance, and an invitation into an attuned, inclusive, transformational space bridging ecology with sōma (body). This practice allows a sense of presence and curiosity to the personal embodiment of your cells, body systems and developmental patterns through your authentic movement weaving back into the greater body of earth and cosmos.
Guided by Sierra Espinal, an Eco Somatic movement facilitator & Poet, Sierra curates through guided meditation, poetry and eco somatic inquiry, a connected sense of the elemental rhythms of nature inviting in a remembering of our embodied experience of this innate relational reciprocity on being. Coming from a depth of travel, study, and facilitation of both yoga and embodied movement & dance melding with her Honduran roots and an upbringing in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. Her continued exploration of our place within the natural world through the lens of indigenous wisdom traditions is evident in her offerings. Sierra facilitates a journey both uniquely enlivening & intimate, and deeply ancient.
LIVE RHYTHMS:
Along with a curated soundscape, live instruments will accompany the rhythmic vibration of the space by musician Carlos Riegal.
