Greg Dysart, a long-time SVT member, avid naturalist and experienced photographer will present a slide show of these alluring little beings.Learn about these beneficial insects, ever present within our state. They are mostly aquatic creatures that embark from waters and transform into flying adults. They are easily seen during our warm seasons within a wide range of environments. The presentation will explain the differences and similarities between the two groups and will lend information on where to try to see various species of each group. Observing and photographing without disturbing their lives will be encouraged.
To survive and thrive Odonata needs clean water and healthy land such as SVT protects. Make learning about this part of our natural world a new hobby.
