Q: Do I have to attend meetings to be a volunteer?
A. No. There are many jobs that do not require you to attend any meetings but some might if they require advance training. There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities.
To ask about volunteering in a specific area, contact the Track Director or Department Head for the area you are interested in.

Q: What kind of volunteer opportunities are available?
A: Volunteer meetings are a great place to learn about which areas currently have openings and are recruiting. Some departments are much larger than others and have more open slots. Some are small and have low turnover so they may have a waiting list. All fan tracks are run by volunteers. https://www.dragoncon.org/things-to-do/tracks. Departments that always need volunteers are security, registration, and load in/load out.
