The Portland Rose Festival is thrilled to host the Dragon Boat Races, a thrilling event that has been bringing the excitement of this traditional Chinese sport to Portland since 1989! 🐉🌊Held on the beautiful Willamette River, the races feature four-team heats every nine minutes, with over 60 teams from Portland, across the country, and around the world competing for victory! Teams race in boats provided by the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association, making this a truly international event. 🌍⚓️
Best of all, this event is FREE to the public, so come out and cheer on your favorite teams as they battle it out on the water!
