The Dragon 50 is an epic ultra-trail footrace from Kenfig Sands to Cardiff Bay.Starting at beautiful Kenfig Nature Reserve, near Port Talbot, runners start through the sand dunes before reaching the coast. Next is the seaside town of Porthcawl past several bays before turning inland along the Ogmore river.
The trip inland takes in more dunes before crossing the river at the stepping stones at Ogmore castle. Then it is the the journey along the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan heritage coast ending in one last climb up Penarth cliffs and a fast descent to take you over Cardiff Bay Barrage to the finish at the Captain Scott Memorial.
