Storytime with local drag performers, adapted to be more accessible to kids with autism and other disabilities.
About this Event

Drag Story Hour is just what it sounds likeā€”drag artists reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH NYC captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. And because drag artists are professional, eye-catching performers, they are also the perfect ambassadors for helping kids to discover the magic of reading!

Children with disabilities are welcome at any DSH NYC event, but DSH for Neurodiverse Kids has the needs of children with autism and other disabilities in mind by design. Read more about what makes these events accessible at www.lineupthebooks.com/dqsh.

Keep an eye on this page for additional details coming soon, including a theme and a list of books! A social story will be emailed out the week of the event to all who register.
