Desert Star Institute for Family Planning is an independent abortion clinic.
Desert Star was founded to do abortions and we will do abortions until we cannot do them anymore.
We are also so much more. We are a beacon in a safe space for historically marginalized communities who traditionally face barriers to care.
We center them. We serve them. They deserve just dignified, and exceptional health care and that is what we strive to provide.
Our doors must stay open because we know that when independent abortion clinics close they do not return. Our community needs us.
We are steadfast and unmovable in our resolve to stay the course and be ready to provide abortion care whenever we are able to do so.
