Drafted Destiny: An Evening with Ron Holland
Join us on Saturday, October 11th, from 4โ7 PM for this rare VIP opportunity to meet Ron Holland in person. Celebrate an artistic legacy that has left an indelible mark on both the sailing world and the language of design itself, inside the magnificent and creative space of VEFA Gallery.
Ron Holland is a sailing legend with an iconic global standing and the proud member of Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. New Zealand and Ireland are both claiming him as their own. Ron represents the creativity, sportsmanship and global vision at the very foundation of the Olympic Spirit. As current Culver City resident Ron is a passionate supporter of his homeland New Zealand Olympic Committee's bid to establish a hospitality house in Culver City, California for the 2028 LA Summer Olympics. Ron supports NZOC agreement with Culver City which have recently hit unexpected and unfortunate roadblock from the city council.
The portion of the sales from Ron's art will go toward Culver City fund to host NZOC.
As part of the evening at 5:30PM we will have an Olympic Presentation by Culver City Arts Foundation; 6:15 PM we will host a special 30-minute preview of Ron Hollandโs documentary The Voyage of Discovery. This rare feature offers guests the chance to engage with his journey and hear his story in his own words.
