About this Event
Dr. Rocket - Dr. Rocket is a Seattle-based, alt-rock project by Nick Carver, blending home-recording charm with sharp, yet playful, songwriting. His style is often hard to pin down — drifting from punk-infused, lo-fi rock (“Everybody Runs Away” & “I Can’t Seem To Win”),
to old-school country crooning (“Boat Don’t Float” & “Company”), to avant-garde, psych oddity (“I Am A Bird” and “Diamonds”).
Emma Bakshi Davis - Emma Bakshi Davis is a Portland-based singer/songwriter whose music blends the raw, acoustic intimacy of indie folk with the melodic flair of modern pop. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, Emma draws inspiration from nature, her fascination with the complexities of the human mind, and the intensity with which she experiences the world. With a voice that balances vulnerability and strength, and lyrics that explore love, longing, and resilience, she creates music that feels both intimate and bold. Emma is currently working on her debut single.
Foxlove- Portland local band Foxlove is a trio made up of Rachel Evered (guitar/vocals/violin) Jaxx Ward (bass/vocals) and Ben Adams (guitar/vocals/keys). New on the scene, Foxlove focuses on collaborative songwriting with a mellow rock and indie folk influence. Work hard, play soft.
Essie and The Hum - Born out of the Pacific Northwest, meet Essie and The Hum. This 4-piece band is blending ethereal melodies with analog and electric textures.
With influences like Julia Jacklin, Men I Trust, and Big Thief, their sound fuses laid-back rock and indie folk. Essie’s original songs are carried by her guitar and vocals, backed by Jaxx Ward (bass), Steven Douglas (drums), and Paul Danowski (guitar/vocals). Expect everything from slow-burn ballads to indie-rock-funk.
