Dr. Kellie Dionne Bryant, DNP, WHNP, CHSE, FAAN
Dr. Kellie Bryant is currently the Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs and Simulation and Associate Professor position at Columbia School of Nursing. Dr. Bryant has garnered expertise in her field with a teaching career spanning over two decades and 15 years of specialized simulation experience. Within her current role, Dr. Bryant oversees the day-to-day operations and execution of simulation-based education for both prelicensure and advanced practice nursing students at Columbia’s accredited Helene Fuld Health Trust Simulation Center.


Dr. Suzan Kardong-Edgren PhD. RN, ANEF, CHSE, FSSH, FAAN
Dr. Suzan (Suzie) Kardong-Edgren is an internationally known speaker and educational researcher with over 140 publications. Dr. Edgren was a consultant on the landmark US National Council of State Boards of Nursing National Simulation Study that determined that up to 50% of traditional clinical could be replaced with high-quality simulation. She was the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Simulation in Nursing for 10 years.

Honouring Dr. Paula Price, PhD, MN, BScN (1958 – 2019)
In her 24 years at Mount Royal, Paula was an instructor and coordinator in the Advanced Studies in Critical Care Nursing Certificate Program; acting chair; and then Director of School of Nursing and Midwifery. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at Queen's University and her Master of Nursing and PhD at the University of Calgary. Paula worked in several critical care units and had a particular interest in cardiovascular critical care. She pursued her scholarship interests, which included being the editor for the Canadian Journal of Critical Care Nursing and the Canadian Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing and the Director of Publications for the Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses.
