Bangladeshi Society of Calgary (BSC) is proudly organizing 2nd BANGLADESH FESTIVAL (Dr. Nick BanglaFest) in Calgary on July 6th, 2024, DR. NICK REAL ESTATE being the Title Sponsor of the Event. The focus of Dr. Nick BanglaFest 2024 is to give the 15,000+ Bangaldeshi Canadian living in Calgary a taste of Bangladesh in their new home by dividing the event in the following two parts:
1. Festival Part [11AM - 5PM]: FREE for ALL to Enter. This includes a display of Bangladeshi heritage, a tradeshow for boutique, jewelry and authentic/fusion food vendors, and a cultural show by local Bangladeshi talents
2. Concert Part [6:30PM - 11PM]: A nostalgic concert by the topmost superstar from Bangladesh: JAMES & his band Nagar Baul.
ENTRY Fees: VIP $100; Deluxe $75; General $60
The objective of this festival is to uphold and glorify the Bangladeshi cultural heritage and the reputation in the Canadian multicultural society as well as to serve the Bangladeshi community by promoting harmony, unity, inclusion, and diversity.
Since the event is happening during Calgary Stampede time, it is a great opportunity for Bangladeshi Canadians / Canadian Bangladeshis living out of Calgary to plan for an unforgettable experience to enjoy JAMES Concert, attend Calgary Stampede, and visit Banff in one trip.
