Come celebrate with Charleston Black Pride as we make our way from Burke HS leading down King Street ending near Mother Emanuel Church on Calhoun St -in solidarity with the “YWCA Charleston Chapter” as they host their annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr Day parade celebrations. Bring some candy for the crowd, bring your energy, bring your mindset based on inclusivity, and most of all bring your love for Unity/diversity. We are meeting up on the front street of Burke HS and we are going to continue to make history in Downtown Charleston as we’ve done for the past several years! See you all there! Let’s show our pride in unity and in honor of Dr King’s vision to have a dream of collective action, equality, and diversity.
