Festival favourites Dr Jazz & the Cheshire Cats Big Band return for what’s sure to be a fantastic night of big band jazz.This 20-piece band brings the golden age of swing to life with big band bangers from back in the day including jazz classics made famous by the likes of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, vocal hits from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, with a few Latin jazz surprises along the way.
Featuring two vocalists, the band has a wide repertoire, with a particular reputation for stylish performances of classic swing. As a result, the band is regularly booked for events where people will enjoy dancing to great jazz tunes.
