Dr. Jane Goodall, PhD, DBE, UN Messenger of Peace and Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute will return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in five years with her Reasons for Hope tour.Goodall is an English ethologist and activist and one of the world’s foremost experts on chimpanzees. She first went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania to observe its chimpanzees in 1960. Her studies made the ground breaking discovery that humans were not the only species to make and modify tools. The work she began continues to this day as one of the longest longitudinal studies of any species on Earth.
After a long absence brought on by the COVID pandemic, Goodall, 89, is delighted to be returning to meet with her supporters and share her reasons for hope in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
The shows will be a presentation and lecture from Dr Jane Goodall and will include an audience Q&A segment along with a fireside conversation with a moderator.
