DR. JACQUELINE A. BUSSIE, AN AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR AND PUBLIC THEOLOGIAN, WILL SPEAK DURING WORLD COMMUNION SERVICE AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF THOMASVILLE First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville will welcome Dr. Jacqueline Bussie as a guest speaker during their 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, October 5, 2025. First Presbyterian extends an open invitation to all to join them for this special worship service which will include a keynote address from Dr. Bussie as well as the Lord’s Supper in celebration of World Communion Sunday.
Dr. Bussie will draw on parts of her latest and award-winning book, Love Without Limits, as she recounts inspiring personal stories of compassion, hope, and healing. Lunch will be served afterwards in the church fellowship hall with an informal question and discussion period with Dr. Bussie.
Dr. Bussie is a Davidson College graduate. She received an M.A. in Religion from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Theology, Ethics, and Culture from University of Virginia. She is currently writing a fourth memoir about the tragic sudden death of her husband and how it led her to sell her home, give away all her possessions, become a full-time writer, and devote a year of her life to showing up for her people.
