About this Event
The Theme for this year’s celebration is “HOPE as we build our FUTURE”. In this year commemoration, we are regniting the light of hope and unity for New Zealanders of Congolese descent and in solidarity with other New Zealanders whose countries of origin are in unrest conflicts.
Our hope lies in upholding and celebrating Congolese resilience, culture, traditions and values as we build a brighter future for the next generation. We will celebrate through music, performance, food, art and much more.
We haven't forgotten those who have fallen and still are falling in this unjust war which is ongoing in the Eastern part of the Dem. Rep. of Congo.
We stand strong, unbroken for them!
So come join us for another vibrant night full of performances, reflection, food and a HOT dance floor to destress and refill positive vibes!
Dress Code: African Attire/Formal wear (Soiree).
