Leicester Theosophical Society are delighted to welcome back Dr Cal Cooper, who will be speaking on the fascinating subject of Psychic Animals.Cal is one of the country’s leading experts and researchers on parapsychology and the paranormal, a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), holding postgraduate degrees in psychology, social science research methods and education, from the University of Northampton, Sheffield Hallam University and Manchester Metropolitan University. He has a long time association with the University of Northampton, and is based there as a senior lecturer in psychology, delivering classes and conducting research on Death and Bereavement, Positive Psychology, Human Sexual Behaviour, Parapsychology, and Research Methods. He is the author of various research papers and book chapters, and has also authored and co-edited several books, and has appeared on UK and USA radio and TV shows as a representative for psychology, parapsychology and sceptical inquiry in science.
The talk will start promptly at 2pm and finish around 4.45pm.
As we operate purely on donations, we do ask attendees to give a donation of £5 to help to cover the costs of room hire and of putting on this event. There is a tea break after about an hour, and all refreshments are provided with our compliments.
