DPS License To Carry Class Classroom & ShootingPREREQUISITE:

*Pass our Pre-Test with 90%

This course is specifically designed to meet the Texas DPS minimum requirements and will teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. Crosshairs Texas course gives students direct instruction on firearm safety, pistol nomenclature, selecting a pistol for self defense, basic defensive pistol skills, picking a holster and loading & stoppage remediation. DPS course of fire will be conducted after student pass a written course, which includes shooting from 3, 7 and 15 yards with 50 rounds and requires a score of 170 or better to pass and receive the Tx DPS certificate.
The application is $42.95, Fingerprints are $10 - LTC & NRA CCW class is $195 -.Class include the DPS & NRA instruction, hands-on training and facilitating the entire LTC process.
