DPC Heritage Photowalk to Ravan in making @ Titarpur DPC Heritage Photowalk to the Ravan Effigy at Titarpur will take place on 21th September 2025,

Dussehra, a festival celebrating the victory of good over evil, is marked by the burning of the huge effigy of Ravan. Titarpur is one of the main centres where these effigies are made. Artisans here work for over a month creating Ravan effigies in different shapes, colours, and sizes, only to watch them being burnt during the festival, similar to other idol-making traditions.
Titarpur is an urban village in Delhi that transforms completely during the festive season. This walk will give participants a chance to explore how these iconic effigies are created and the effort that goes into the craft.

These photowalks are to encourage amateurs and beginners to come out and enjoy photography, please help us maintain the spirit.
2-Some people want to help us. There are two ways,
a-tell about the club to as many of your friends as possible and ask them to join us either on the Facebook page (look for Delhi Photography Club, Blue Tic Verified Page ) when you search on Facebook.
b-send us photos clicked in the walk so that we may upload them in the club’s album. Post walk please send 10-15 photos zipped and compressed to [email protected].
8-Please bring your water bottles, goggles, and wear comfortable shoes.
